The University of Basrah organizes an interactive symposium entitled (The Obligation of Fasting and its Provisions)

The College of Education for Pure Sciences in the Department of Physics, in cooperation with the Educational Guidance Unit and the Center for Development and Continuing Education, organized an interactive symposium entitled (The Obligation of Fasting and its Provisions). It was attended by the Head of the Physics Department, a number of male and female teachers in the Physics Department, and a number of the department’s students.
The aim of this symposium was to create a general and comprehensive picture of the virtue of the blessed month of Ramadan. It also highlighted the importance of purifying hearts from hatred and malice before entering the blessed month, investing in obedience and the virtue of the month of Ramadan in the sight of God Almighty, and urging the necessity of sitting with the Holy Qur’an and contemplating its verses and meanings. The symposium began with a valuable lecture. To (Dr. Ahmed Jassim) from the Department of Physics, and then he was interviewed by (Mrs. Alaa Munther Shari) by asking many questions related to the topic of the symposium and also answering questions asked by the audience by the doctor, and the participation was effective.
