The University of Basrah organizes a workshop for fourth-year students entitled (How to be a successful teacher)

The College of Education for Pure Sciences in the Department of Physics organized a workshop for fourth-year students entitled (How to be a successful teacher)
The workshop included preparing them for the application stage in secondary schools. The workshop was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Majid Muhammad Jassim, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Jaber, the Head of the Physics Department, Professor Dr. Jabbar Mansour Khalaf, and a number of professors from the Physics Department.
The symposium began with a blessed recitation of the Holy Qur’an and standing to read Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs of Iraq. The head of the department, as well as A.M.D., presented it. Haider Qassem gave guidance words to students regarding the importance and method of application in schools, and reviewed the duties of the applied student towards the scientific and educational supervisors and the duties of the school principal and the former teacher. Prof. Dr. also presented. Jabbar Mansour provided valuable administrative guidance related to discipline during the application period as it reflects the image of the university and college in the community. A.M.D. provided Haider Qassem: Instructions for students regarding how to appear as a teacher who is keen on his work and is highly knowledgeable and leaves a mark on his school.
At the conclusion of the workshop, symbolic gifts were distributed to the outstanding students, and they presented a speech and a film in which they summarized their activities for the previous four years, thanking their teachers and what they provided for them during the study period, and promising to have the high morals that honor the department and the college during their time in schools.
