The Council of the College of Education for Pure Sciences held its eighth session on Thursday, February 1, 2024. The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Majid Muhammad Jassim, in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Jaber Ali, the honorable heads of scientific departments, and the honorable Secretary of the Council. The meeting included the following topics:
1- Discussing the directives of the Honorable President of the University, which include developing the reality of scientific research within the university’s formations, supporting research published in scientific stores, and emphasizing the importance of research groups that contribute to developing the scientific aspect.
2- Discussing the basic points related to the theoretical and practical exams of the first stage of study.
3- Activating the role of professors in scientific departments in monitoring students’ commitment to uniforms.
4- The possibility of developing the college magazine was discussed in a way that suits the level of research submitted for publication.
4- Discussing the administrative aspect and developing staff by focusing on specialized courses that may contribute to developing the job performance of employees.
5- The terms of the twinning agreement concluded by the college with Al Ain Private University in Dhi Qar were discussed.
