The University of Basrah organizes a scientific lecture entitled (Benzocaine and its Spectroscopic and Medical Applications)

The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basrah - Department of Chemistry - organized a scientific lecture entitled (Benzocaine and its Spectroscopic and Medical Applications) presented by the researcher (Ghofran Abdul Karim Mardan) to learn about the importance of this compound as a local anesthetic, its advantages and disadvantages, and the most important spectroscopic methods for estimating it from many of its pharmaceutical preparations.
The lecture concluded with the effectiveness of benzocaine against cancer and tuberculosis and an essential source for preparing many of its derivatives, which are considered a treatment for Alzheimer's disease, Barnesque's disease, stroke, and an antibacterial and antifungal of various kinds.
