The University of Basrah  holds a festival entitled (In the Footsteps of the Martyrs), whose activities were organized at the site of the Bab al-Zubair Colleges Complex in conjunction with the fourth anniversary of the martyrdom of the leaders of the victory. The festival was attended by the President of the University of Basra, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and a group of deans of colleges and guests, and he was received by the Dean of the College of Education. For pure sciences, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem, the college students participating in the festival, praised their efforts and their continued participation in student events and activities. At the same time, Mr. Dean listened to the problems that students suffer from in studying and living in the internal departments and promised them to address them and wished them a prosperous future in service to our dear Iraq. The meeting was attended by Mr. Assistant The Dean of Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Jaber, the Head of the Chemistry Department, Professor Dr. Moayed, and the Head of the Student Activities Unit at the College, Dr. Ali Sabbar.
