In line with the vision of the College of Education for Pure Sciences to serve the community, under the supervision of the Educational Guidance and Psychological Guidance Unit, a teaching staff and students from the Physics Department visited the nursing home within the Social Welfare Department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in Basra Governorate. During the visit, they met with the elderly, men and women, numbering (22) men and women. (14)Women
The visit aimed to enhance the humanitarian side of our fathers and mothers in the nursing home and the moral duty towards the elderly segment, sharing their moments, embracing them with warmth, and returning the favor to this important segment of society by checking on the health of the elderly and attending to their human needs.
The teachers extended their thanks and appreciation to the home’s administration for providing all the necessary services and needs and providing amenities for the elderly.
