The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basrah in the Department of Mathematics discussed a PhD thesis on analytical-numerical methods for solving fluid flow issues.
The thesis presented by the researcher (Hassan Rahim Shol) included
In this thesis, a semi-analytical technique is proposed to find approximate analytical solutions for various nonlinear fluid flow problems after converting them into nonlinear ordinary differential equations using appropriate similarity transformations. Technology has been used to deal with many issues. Such as solving the Plessis problem for the flow of a boundary layer and magnetic fluids under the influence of a pressure gradient with the presence of a magnetic field and an unstable flow pressure using the effects of slip and non-slip at the boundary, examining the effects of thermal radiation of the Casson fluid, and exploring the effects of the physical parameters of the flow pressure between two parallel plates through the porous Darcy channel, such as sliding speed thermal slip and melt slip.
