And to study the joint effect of the study materials on normal and cancerous cell lines to investigate the state of synergy and non-synergy, and to study the phenotypical cellular changes in all cell lines using hematoxylin and eosin stains, and the detection of programmed cell death using the acridine orange stain and ethidium bromide, and the immunological detection of the Caspase3 programmed cell death proteins ,8,9 After treating the cells with the study materials individually and in combination, the pathways of programmed cell death stimulated by the study materials were investigated using the micro-array technique, which is used to detect thousands of proteins at the same time and depends on estimating the optical density of proteins that are related to cell death
apoptosis, and studying the gene expression of Caspase3,8,9 programmed cell death genes.
And the study concluded
The lavender oil is more toxic to cancer cell lines compared to normal cell lines, and the Newcastle vaccine virus has a higher selectivity on cancer cells than normal cells, and this gives a good indication for the use of both lavender oil and Newcastle vaccine virus as a promising treatment for cancer, that the joint action of the study materials is important In the treatment of cancer, this was observed in the exacerbation of pathological cellular effects, and the study showed that the inhibitory effect of lavender oil and Newcastle pollen virus is due to the stimulation of different pathways of programmed cell death.
