The University of Basrah holds a religious lecture entitled (The Sublime Meanings of Fasting)

The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basrah, under the supervision of the Educational Counseling and Psychological Guidance Unit and the Women's Empowerment Unit, hosted the social researcher Ibtisam Al-Sayegh in a religious lecture to receive the month of Ramadan, entitled The Sublime Meanings of Fasting
Which showed the following:
Recitation of the Quranic verses in which fasting and its rulings are mentioned.
The privacy and importance of the month of Ramadan among the months.
Ethics of the fasting person, as fasting is the elixir of patience, working to improve morals, social solidarity, kinship ties, activating the culture of apology, purifying souls from all grudges and stinginess, and initiatives to break the fast.
And the consequential equations to win the gifts and gifts of the Almighty, and to fulfill the divine call for his holy month, and to perform it in the most beautiful and best performance.
The first equation is the jurisprudential matters of the intention to fast and the provisions of fasting and things that break the fast.
The second equation is the contents of the sermon of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, regarding fasting.
The third equation is the reward for fasting, calculating good deeds in the holy month, erasing bad deeds, resolving psychological, behavioral and societal problems thanks to the principles it instills, and taming and refining the soul by adhering to the obligations of God.
The fourth equation: Iftar for the fasting person is the Iftar of God's guests, the generosity of human giving, and the feeling of the poor and the needy.
Alawi Umm Nour answered the questions of the attendees about the legal and jurisprudential matters related to the obligation of fasting.
A number of virtuous female teachers were honored, and in conclusion, we pray for everyone to accept fasting and good deeds with the best acceptance.
