Dr.. Fay Saud Al-Sayyab - Obstetrician and Gynecologist
(Health challenges facing women)
Which dealt with the most important challenges facing women's health at all stages of life, which lie in their willingness to conduct early examinations for diseases, such as Mamo Karam's examination (mammography) to avoid exacerbating her pathological problems. STD, obesity, sexual health. Virginity test. The age of hope and maternal mortality
The second lecture
Dr. Hana Sadiq Al-Badran - Director of the Center for Educational Counseling and Psychological Guidance at the University of Basra
( menopause)
Menopause between its scientific, medical, psychological and behavioral concept, and the difference between menopause for both sexes, and how a person overcame menopause in all stages of life, and how he overcame the life, health and psychological troubles of life.
As for the recommendations of the symposium and summarized thus
- Joint awareness and education campaigns between the Women Empowerment Units and the Department of Health.
Paying attention to campaigns for early detection of breast and cervical cancer.
Developing a national strategy for treating osteoporosis in women.
- Caring for elderly women.
- Increasing the percentage of women participating in health care and health research.
Supporting women's access to leadership positions in government, higher education centers and the private sector.
- Improving government childbirth services.
Paying attention to women's mental health.
Providing moral and material support to hospitals and health centers specialized in women's health, and establishing family planning centers.
