The University of Basrah organizes a scientific lecture entitled (An Analytical Study of a Nonlinear Model for the Flow of a Boundary Layer on a Flat Plate by the Perturbation Recurrence Technique)

The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basrah  organized a scientific lecture entitled Analytical Study of a Nonlinear Model for the Flow of a Boundary Layer on a Flat Plate by the Perturbation Repeating Technique
It included a lecture given by the researcher (Hassan Rahim Shol). In this study the flow of an incompressible two-dimensional boundary layer over a flat plate was investigated as a Blasius flow problem. The partial differential equation as a developed system of Blasius model has been converted into ordinary differential equation through suitable similarity transformations. Perturbation repetition technique was used to solve the obtained differential equation. Comparing the results of perturbation repetition technique and Blasius numerical method results in high agreement. The results of this method were compared with the results of the disordered homotopy method and the heterogeneous repetition method for the same question. Finally, it can be said that the perturbed method is effective and widely applicable to solve nonlinear ordinary differential equations.
