The College of Education for Pure Sciences, Department of Mathematics, University of Basrah, organized a scientific lecture entitled “A numerical study of the effect of contractions and some materials on blood flow in the arteries.”
The lecture presented by the student (Mohamed Sabah Abdel-Wahhab) included a study of some approximate analytical methods for solving nonlinear partial differential equations issues, where the first method was the new symmetric perturbation method and the second method was the Taylor technique. These two methods are used together or by merging them with some other mathematical methods and concepts to form a new method that is more efficient than the previous two methods and has high accuracy, good convergence, and fewer errors. The new method is used to study issues that describe fluid flow in complex and irregular geometric shapes. (contains many bends and zigzags) such as blood flow problems in narrow places or that contain contractions in its design and also the study of the influence of the geometric medium in which the flow occurs spatially and physically by materials that sometimes control as forces in the flow of fluids.
