Basra University organizes a scientific lecture on (studying the nuclear structure of clusters A=82 using the model of interacting bosons)

The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basra, in the Department of Physics, organized a scientific lecture on the study of the nuclear structure of the A=82 clusters using the boson model.
The lecture presented by the student (Abdullah Hussein Abd Ali) included
The nuclear structure of isobars A=82 has been studied within the framework of the Interacting boson model in its IBM-1 and IBM-2 formulas. The study included calculating the positive energy levels of excited symmetry and determining the affiliation of the conglomerates to one of the three dynamic symmetries U(5), SU(3) and γ-soft. The study also included the investigation of electromagnetic properties in order to know the nature of the transitions between energy levels depending on the selection rules. The reduction potential of the electric dipole transition B(E2), the electric quadrupole torque Q and the calculation of the branching ratios were calculated. IBM-2 predictions of the probability of magnetic dipole transition B(M1), electromagnetic mixing ratios and determining energy levels were obtained. Mixed symmetry states observed in practice. Also, the IBM-1 model was applied to study the surface potential energy to determine the nuclear shape of the clusters A=82 under study. By comparing the theoretical results obtained in the study with the available practical values, it shows the ability of the model to describe the nuclear properties of these Isobars clusters.
