The Department of Mathematics at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basra held its annual scientific conference to discuss the outstanding graduation research for students of the fourth stage, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdul-Sattar Jaber Ali, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Muhannad Musa Issa, Head of the Department of Mathematics, and a number of faculty members and students in the department.
  The conference aims to shed light on the most prominent achievements of the fourth stage students in their graduation projects and to give them the opportunity to prove their mental and intellectual abilities and express their opinions in a scientific way that enhances the student's self-confidence.
 The conference discussed the graduation research and was informed of its topics and objectives, and the students gave summaries of their submitted research. A court committee of the department’s teachers, headed by Prof. Dr. Hashem Abdel-Khaleq and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Yahya Hashem and teacher Dr. Jawad Mahmoud Jassim, will nominate the top three researches to participate in the college conference.
