The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basra organized a lecture on (studying energy levels and electromagnetic properties of even-pair nuclei with N = 52,84 within the framework of the model of interacting bosons)

The lecture presented by the master's student (Russell Zaki Salman) included calculating the electric quadrupole moment and mixing ratio between electromagnetic transitions and studying the behavior of energy levels as a function of the number of neutrons

The purpose of the lecture

Using the model of interacting bosons in its formulas IBM_1,IBM_2, the nuclear structure of the nuclei with N = 84,52 was studied. The study included energy levels and reduced electromagnetic transitions to identify the nature of these transitions depending on the rules of selection, as well as finding the mixing ratio between these transitions and knowing the dynamic selection to which these nuclei belong. The obtained results were compared with the practical results, and the model was able to describe the nuclear structure of these nuclei.
