University of Basrah organizes a seminar entitled (The role of academic and educational guidance for the applied student)

The College of Education for Pure Sciences in the Department of Chemistry, in cooperation with the Educational Guidance and Psychological Guidance Unit and the Center for Development and Continuing Education, organized a working seminar entitled
(The Role of Academic and Educational Guidance for the Applied Student)
The seminar, delivered by the lecturers, Assistant Professor Dr. Zainab Jamil Abdul Jalil, in collaboration with a group of lecturers, included
guiding and qualifying fourth-year students for application through psychological preparation for the applied student, which helps him enhance confidence and build a positive relationship with students and teachers, and the necessity of using educational tools during the lesson and how to prepare a daily teaching plan that includes introduction, presentation, evaluation, and conclusion, linking the previous lesson to today's lesson, evaluating the students' level, and concluding the lesson by giving homework. The focus was on the role of the educational and scientific supervisor in the classroom visit to the applied student, the aim of which is to collect information to study the educational situation to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the teacher and develop an appropriate plan for treatment to achieve the goal of educational and scientific supervision through the applied student evaluation form.
