The College of Education for Pure Sciences in the Department of Computer Science held a scientific workshop for students of the Computer Department entitled (The Impact of Bullying on the Personality of the University Student)
It included the following topics:
- The first axis: bullying - its concept - its forms, as presented by Dr. Salman Fayyad Al-Ali presents the concept of bullying and its common forms in the university environment and its effects on the personality of the university student and society.
- The second axis: the causes of bullying, and this axis was addressed by M. Dr. Zainab Jamil, through a detailed explanation of the reasons and factors that contribute to its formation in the individual and the university student in particular.
The third axis: the effects of bullying, which was addressed by M. Wejdan Yassin, and the assistant teacher, Iman Thabet Khaled, through a presentation of the most important psychological, social and educational effects on the personality of the university student and the problems it causes, which are reflected in the student’s psychological health and social relations.
The fourth axis: methods of dealing with bullying, which was addressed by Professor: Dhafer Ghani Houni
In detail by reviewing the results of scientific and educational studies to reduce the phenomenon of bullying and reduce its effects.
The attendance of the teachers and students of the department played a role in stimulating discussions by asking questions and scientific dialogue to clarify the phenomenon of bullying and reduce it and awareness of the seriousness of its effects.
