Summary
Ultrasound irradiation technology was used to conduct a single-vessel reaction to synthesize new cyclic amides of the type oxo-2-pyrrolidinecarboxamides and 7oxo-2-azepanecarboxamides. Isocyanides.
The use of this type of protocol for the reaction by ultrasonic irradiation technology offers attractive properties such as easy handling methodology, good to excellent yield of the prepared compounds, environmentally friendly properties, clean medium, economical in the use of materials, fast reaction compared to traditional methods. The activity of the prepared compounds has been tested as anti-microbial agents for some of them, and the majority of these cyclic amides showed moderately weak anti-microbial activity.
