Summary:
Azonapthol-type dye, (E)-4-(phenyldiazenyl)naphthalene-1 was first prepared by the diazotization reaction of the p-nitro aniline compound and subsequent conjugation with α-naphthol. Proton nuclear magnetic resonance 1HNMR was used to determine the position of protons in the prepared dye, and FTIR was used to determine the absorption bands of vibration bonds in the predicted regions of the prepared dye. For absorption using 473 nmlaser beams across diffraction ring modes at 42mW and Z-scan 5m separate Wtechniques. A high nonlinear refractive index, 10−6 cm2W 1, was also obtained by means of a diffraction ring pattern. Through the study, the optical determination property of a dye solution was tested and determined, and the value was a threshold of 17 MW, and it was proved that the dye can be used as an optical determinant, and Fraunhofer's estimations of Fresnel-Kirchhoff's theory agreed to the diffraction ring patterns.
