Basra University organizes a scientific lecture on (theoretical investigation of a multi-layer dual-feed ribbon antenna)

The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basra organized a scientific lecture on the study of the theoretical investigation of a multi-layer dual-fed ribbon antenna

The lecture presented by a doctoral student (Doaa Hussein Hashem) included: It is necessary in many applications to design antennas with very high gain to meet long-range communications. The gain and directivity in a single antenna is lower. To increase the yield and directivity the solution is to create an array antenna. This can be done by increasing the antenna size and often expanding the dimensions of the individual antenna leads to more directional characteristics. The other way is to increase the antenna dimensions without increasing the size of the individual antenna, which is the antenna array. The elements of the array can be fed by one or several lines in the arrangement of the feeding network.

This study suggested an analysis of a dual-fed ribbon antenna array. The dual-feed ribbon antenna proposes to obtain circular polarization of radiation and a wide beam for applications.

The proposed antenna is expected to enhance the directivity in addition to improving the antenna parameters such as high directivity, radial structure, standing wave ratio (VSWR), return loss (loss factor) S-parameter and gain of the proposed antenna.

Aim of the lecture:

A study to improve the properties of a multi-layered double-fed ribbon antenna array to increase the gain, directivity and other parameters of the antenna.
