Basra University is discussing a master's thesis on searchable encryption in encrypted cloud data

The College of Education for Pure Sciences at Basra University discussed a master's thesis under the title (Searchable Encryption Scheme for Encrypted Cloud Data)
The message presented by the researcher (Muhammad Abd Al-Latif Abdul-Hassan) included a proposal for a secure searchable encryption approach that would allow the search process to be conducted in the encrypted data stored in the Cloud in an efficient and highly efficient manner by presenting multi-word queries and retrieving the results arranged according to their relevance to the query presented.
The message aims to provide a secure and efficient searchable encryption approach that guarantees the privacy of the data stored on the Cloud server, which is stored encrypted by the owner of the data to ensure its privacy, with the ability to conduct a search on it, as the Simhash function was used to build the Searchable Index for the data.
The thesis concluded with the importance of using cloud computing because of the attractive advantages it offers, whether in terms of storage or ease of access to data, in addition to focusing on data management instead of managing infrastructure and other services.
The message recommended the necessity of securing sensitive data stored on the Cloud that are produced from various sources such as public and private institutions, digital sensors, financial and health transactions, and so on, by adopting efficient and secure searchable encryption methods.
