As part of the activities of the Entrepreneurial Business Week, the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Department of Physics, held a symposium on solar cells and their applications as clean and renewable energy. The symposium, delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fadhel Abdul Wahid, specializing in Nanotechnology/Renewable Energy, in collaboration with a group of lecturers, included. The attendees expressed their interest in the topics of the workshop, and the organizers of the symposium recommended the necessity of converting the buildings of the college departments and its deanship to this type of clean alternative energy. The symposium was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Haid Qasim Fadhel, the Head of the Physics Department, and a number of lecturers from the department's students.
