The University of Basrah holds a course entitled (The Impact of Martial Arts on Society and its Impact on Man)

The Department of Physics at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basrah , in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education, held a session entitled (The Impact of Martial Arts on Society and its Impact on Man)
The course presented by the international trainer (Ali Abdul-Ridha Al-Atafi) included the following topics:
Knowledge of martial arts in the primitive and modern era, where the lecturer indicated that the civilization of Mesopotamia before about 2600 BC has an impact on self-defense, and also refers to the fact that external arts prefer the development of techniques based on muscle strength, while martial arts are developed Interior using the intrinsic nature of the body and relaxation, the course also dealt with the practical side in the arts and includes both physical and mental skills and a clear understanding of the techniques scientifically and all these concepts are based on physics and biomechanics of the body.
