The Departments of Mathematics and Computer Science at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basra obtained a Certificate of Excellence from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, following their advance to the first place in the Iraqi classification of universities for the year 2021 and the corresponding disciplines. Deepening the concepts of excellence, encouraging all individuals and educational institutions to develop performance, promoting positive trends towards knowledge and scientific research, and spreading the spirit of innovation and competition among teachers and researchers in educational institutions
