Basra University holds a scientific workshop entitled (The Behaviors of Faculty Members and Their Role in Increasing Students’ Motivation to Study)

The College of Education for Pure Sciences in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Basra held a scientific workshop for the department’s professors entitled Behaviors of faculty members and their role in increasing students’ motivation to study
The workshop aimed to focus on the verbal behaviors of the teachers and body language and their role in increasing students’ motivation to study. The workshop included several axes:
The first axis: a lecture by Dr. Iyad entitled (University teaching is a role model for students)
The second axis: a lecture by Nawal Muhammad Assaf / Educational Guidance and Psychological Care Center entitled verbal and non-verbal behaviors of faculty members and their role in enhancing students’ motivation to study. To speak and focus on the importance of the dialogue that arises between the student and the teacher in the classroom and the group discussion, and the use of the teacher’s body language and the selection of various teaching skills.
