Basra University organizes a scientific lecture on (Using fluorescent phosphorous materials in solid state lighting)

The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basra, in the Department of Chemistry, organized a scientific lecture on the use of fluorescent phosphorous materials in solid-state lighting
The lecture presented by the student (Abbas Fadel Kazem) included
Study of the preparation of fluorescent phosphorous materials doped with cerium ion by solid-state method and they were diagnosed by X-ray diffraction measurement and infrared IR spectroscopy. Prepared by photofluorometry PL The morphology of the prepared compound particles was studied by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and the proportion of constituent elements of the compound was calculated by X-ray energy dispersal spectroscopy (EDX), in addition to measuring the quantitative efficiency (QE) of the prepared compound.
Objectives of the lecture
Preparation of fluorescent phosphorous materials
Industrial application of prepared phosphorous materials in the manufacture of white LEDs and study of their properties.
