As part of its commitment to supporting female students and fostering communication with them, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Basrah, organized a visit to the fourth female student dormitory on Monday, October 26, 2026. Several members of the unit participated in the visit.
The initiative aimed to provide moral and material support to the students at the start of the new academic year, while strengthening bonds of rapport and communication between the students and university staff—thereby contributing to a safe and supportive campus environment for their academic journey.
The visit included a meeting with the dormitory supervisors to discuss the students' needs. Additionally, various academic supplies were provided to help meet these needs and assist the students in pursuing their university studies.
The visit concluded with a commemorative photograph featuring members of the Women’s Affairs Unit and the dormitory supervisors. The unit members expressed their best wishes to all students for a successful and outstanding academic year, characterized by diligence, perseverance, and the realization of their academic aspirations.
