The University of Basrah organizes a scientific workshop on reviewing and refining research plans in accordance with the Ministry's scientific methodological requirements.

The College of Education for Pure Sciences, in collaboration with the Center for Development and Continuing Education and the Department of Computer Science, organized a workshop on reviewing and refining research proposals in accordance with Ministry requirements and scientific methodology.
As part of its commitment to supporting the scientific and academic landscape and fostering activities that advance the College’s intellectual mission, the workshop focused on "Reviewing and Refining Research Proposals in Accordance with Ministry Requirements and Scientific Methodology."
Presented by Prof. Dr. Hamid Ali Abdul-Asadi, with the participation of faculty members—including newly appointed staff—and postgraduate students, the workshop aimed to enhance the quality of research proposals and ensure their alignment with ministerial standards and scientific methodology.
The workshop addressed the pivotal role research proposals play within the higher education system; they serve as the compass guiding a researcher’s path, methodology, and objectives. The quality of scientific outputs—and their capacity to contribute to societal development and the advancement of knowledge—hinges upon these proposals. Recognizing this importance, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research places increasing emphasis on regulating research proposals and aligning them with established methodological and academic standards, thereby ensuring the rigor of scientific research and enhancing the efficiency of our university institutions
