As the new academic year begins and students commence their classes and lectures, I am delighted to welcome you all to the University of Basrah. I wish our students an academic year filled with knowledge, success, and excellence.

The return of our dear students to campus marks the beginning of a new academic journey—one that prioritizes human development, the expansion of knowledge, and the fostering of a spirit of responsibility and creativity. The university is not merely a place for acquiring knowledge; it is a comprehensive environment for shaping the future, developing capabilities, and preparing a generation equipped with the knowledge, competence, and ability to serve their nation and community.
