In line with the directives and instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding completing the procedures for automating the Student Affairs Management System (SIS) via the HEPIQ platform,
The Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basra, the respected Professor Dr. Majid Muhammad Jassim, held an expanded meeting on Sunday, 9/13/2026, in the presence of members of the College Council, members of the SIS committees, and rapporteurs of the scientific departments.
The meeting dealt with following up on the stages of work completed in entering and updating student and teaching data into the system, and identifying the most prominent technical and administrative obstacles and problems facing the completion of the automation process, as well as discussing mechanisms for handling cases related to students who are late to register, in a way that ensures that the procedures are completed in accordance with the approved contexts and instructions.
During the meeting, the Dean stressed the importance of integrating efforts between the Deanship of the College, the scientific departments, and the relevant committees, and the necessity of accelerating the completion of the system requirements, in a way that contributes to raising the level of administrative and academic work and enhancing the digital transformation in student affairs management.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean of the College expressed his thanks and appreciation for the distinguished efforts made by the members of the committees charged with managing the SIS file, praising their keenness and cooperation in completing the tasks assigned to them, and wishing them continued success
