The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research honored a select group of professors and researchers from the University of Basrah in recognition of their outstanding scientific and research achievements and their presence in international scientific forums.
The ceremony included the honoring of distinguished professors from the College of Education for Pure Sciences, acknowledging their research contributions and scientific accomplishments.
Professor Dr. Majid Mohammed Jassim, Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, attended the event and accepted the "Shield of Excellence" awarded to the college. This honor recognizes the college's scientific and research excellence, following its designation as the most productive college in terms of scientific research output for the 2024–2026 period.
