The remarkable scientific achievement of our college, exemplified by the ranking of its faculty members' research among the top colleges and departments of the University of Basra, is a clear testament to your insightful administration. This administration has made the advancement and elevation of the scientific and research level of the college's faculty a fundamental priority in its academic journey.

This significant accomplishment deserves our utmost pride and appreciation. We extend our gratitude and praise to our researchers whose rigorous scientific contributions have elevated our college's reputation and strengthened its academic standing. These distinguished individuals deserve our highest respect for their past and future contributions, which will undoubtedly reach the highest international standards.

The College of Education for Pure Sciences contributed 290 scientific papers to the publications of the top sixty researchers at the University of Basra, the highest number among all colleges and departments within the university. This was followed by the Colleges of Science, Engineering, Agriculture, and the remaining departments. The ranking of our college's departments and researchers is as follows:

First: Department of Physics – First Place
The department produced 98 research papers, distributed as follows:
- Professor Dr. Hassan Abdullah Sultan – 23 papers.

- Professor Dr. Hussein Ali Badran – 22 papers.

- Professor Dr. Qusay Mohammed Ali – 22 papers.

- Professor Dr. Riyadh Jassim – 17 papers.

- Professor Dr. Jabbar Mansour – 14 papers.

Second: Department of Computer Science – Second Place
The department produced 89 research papers, thanks to the efforts of:
- Professor Dr. Zaid Amin Al-Salmi – 68 papers.

- Professor Dr. Ali Adel Yassin – 21 papers. Third: Department of Mathematics – Third Place
The department produced 75 research papers, thanks to the efforts of:
- Lecturer Dr. Ali Hassan – 61 papers.

- Assistant Professor Dr. Sarim Hazem Hadi – 14 papers. Fourth: Department of Chemistry – Fourth Place

The department produced 28 research papers, thanks to the efforts of:
- Professor Dr. Ahmed Majeed Jassim – 15 papers.

- Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Wahid – 13 papers.

These figures and results are not mere statistics, but rather a true reflection of the distinguished scientific efforts exerted by the professors of our college.
