The Physics Department at the College of Education for Pure Sciences has received national program accreditation from the Iraqi Council for Educational Accreditation, a step that affirms the college's academic and administrative excellence.

The college's deanship, represented by Professor Dr. Majid Mohammed Jassim, at the University of Basra, under the leadership of Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, and all members of the Physics Department, congratulated the department on this achievement.

This accreditation is the culmination of the efforts of the national team, which conducted a comprehensive evaluation visit during the 2025-2026 academic year, ultimately granting the Bachelor's program conditional accreditation for two years.

This achievement strengthens the college's position in implementing quality standards and preparing graduates qualified to serve the educational sector and society
