Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, and in the presence of the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Professor Dr. Majid Muhammad Jassim, Professor Dr. Hamid Ali Abdul, Head of the Computer Science Department, was honored as a distinguished faculty member, and Ms. Saba Muhammad Jassim was honored as a distinguished employee of the college. This took place as part of the university's celebrations of its 62nd anniversary.

Both honorees expressed their gratitude to the University President for this initiative, which contributes to strengthening the sense of belonging and recognizing the efforts of the University of Basra's staff, thus supporting the university's progress and prosperity.
