The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basra held its 13th annual Quranic competition for memorization and recitation of the Holy Quran in the Physics Department.

The competition saw numerous participations from faculty members and undergraduate and graduate students in both memorization and recitation. The competition took place over two days, the 7th and 8th of this month.

The winners were honored at a ceremony where prizes were distributed in recognition of their efforts and active participation in this distinguished Quranic event
