A number of female faculty members from the College of Education for Pure Sciences in the Department of Life Sciences organized an awareness campaign entitled “Together to Stop Violence… Together to Protect Women” in cooperation with a group of female students from the department on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The campaign was carried out by distributing awareness leaflets to members of the department that included a statement of the forms of violence and its negative effects on women, as well as alerting to its dangers to the family and society
