The Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Professor Dr. Majid Mohammed Jassim, participated in the first meeting of the University of Basra's Industrial Advisory Council, convened by the university administration to support innovation and develop entrepreneurial projects.

The meeting was held in the presence of the University President, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, members of the University Council, and a select group of representatives from government departments and the private sector. The aim was to strengthen cooperation between academic institutions and productive sectors, thereby contributing to sustainable development and aligning higher education outcomes with labor market needs
