Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, the College of Education for Pure Sciences, represented by its Dean, Professor Dr. Majid Mohammed Jassim, signed a scientific twinning agreement with Al-Warka Private University/Department of Chemistry. This agreement reflects the college's commitment to strengthening academic cooperation and fostering collaboration with reputable scientific institutions both locally and internationally.

The agreement aims to develop areas of joint cooperation in scientific research, exchange academic expertise, organize joint scientific activities, facilitate faculty and student exchanges, and jointly supervise graduation projects and postgraduate studies.

The Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences emphasized that this step aligns with the college's strategy to elevate its scientific standards and enhance its academic standing, thereby contributing to improved educational quality and outcomes, and opening new avenues for fruitful scientific collaboration.

For its part, Al-Warka University expressed its pride in this partnership, which represents a significant step towards building sustainable academic relationships and exchanging expertise to serve the scientific progress of both institutions.
