In its ongoing pursuit of developing scientific skills and staying abreast of the latest educational curricula and technologies, the Department of Mathematics organized a field trip to Al-Kunuz University for a select group of professors and students. This visit aimed to foster academic collaboration and the exchange of expertise between academic institutions, as well as to highlight the advanced learning environment the university provides for its students.
The tour began with a visit to classrooms designed according to the latest standards, where the delegation observed the interactive teaching aids used to deliver the academic material. The visit also included a detailed tour of the specialized scientific laboratories, where students received comprehensive explanations of the advanced equipment and software that support the practical application of mathematics, particularly in the areas of digital simulation and data analysis.
On the sidelines of the visit, a discussion session was held in which both sides reviewed the adopted curricula, focusing on how to connect mathematical theories to modern practical applications required by the job market. The accompanying professors emphasized the importance of such visits in breaking the monotony of academic study and motivating students to engage in scientific research. The students, in turn, expressed their enthusiasm for utilizing the available laboratory facilities, affirming that learning from the experiences of other universities significantly contributes to broadening their professional and academic horizons
