The College of Education for Pure Sciences holds its annual evaluation conference for the academic year 2024-2025

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim Al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Majid Muhammad Jassim, the College of Education for Pure Sciences held its annual evaluation conference for the academic year (2024-2025), under the theme: "Pure Sciences... Horizons and Aspirations."

During his opening address, the University President, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim Al-Asadi, stated, "The university places great importance on holding evaluation conferences for all colleges to discuss the development of the academic landscape within the university, identify obstacles, and find effective solutions." He emphasized that the university is steadily progressing towards establishing a culture of quality and providing qualified professionals who meet the market's needs in various scientific and humanistic fields.

For his part, the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Professor Dr. Majid Muhammad Jassim, outlined the importance of the conference and its objectives in developing academic and administrative performance and enhancing quality standards. The evaluation conference reviewed the college's progress, presenting several key themes. Among them was the scientific theme, presented by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Qasim Fadhil, who discussed statistics on postgraduate studies, research, and the college's scientific activities.

The administrative and financial theme was presented by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Dakhel Zghair Mutlaq, while the quality assurance theme was presented by the Director of the College's Quality Assurance Division, Professor Dr. Hussein Ali Badran.

The conference addressed the most significant challenges faced by the educational and administrative processes, and recommendations were made to enhance scientific research and community service.
