The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basrah received a ministerial committee from the Academic Accreditation Department to inspect the scientific laboratories as part of the program to improve the quality of educational laboratories and ensure their safety and security.

The visit aimed to assess the current state of the scientific laboratories and their compliance with academic standards and accreditation requirements.

The committee was received by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Majid Mohammed Jassim. The tour included an evaluation of the laboratories' readiness, the availability of modern equipment, the level of maintenance, and adherence to occupational safety procedures and academic documentation for the use of laboratory equipment and materials.

The committee commended the college on the improvements made to its laboratory environment, emphasizing the importance of continuing efforts to enhance infrastructure and support the educational and research process at the university.
