The College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a tree-planting and garden maintenance campaign under the slogan "Tree Planting is the Lung of the Earth and the Language of Life." The campaign was supervised and participated in by the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Professor Dr. Majid Mohammed Jassim, the Administrative Assistant, Professor Dr. Dakhel Zghair Mutlaq, and a number of faculty members and students. It was overseen by the Student Activities Division, the Educational Guidance and Psychological Counseling Unit, and the Women's Affairs Unit. The campaign aimed to: beautify the university campus and create an ideal and vibrant environment that aligns with the concept of improving quality of life by providing a healthy environment for students, offering shaded areas, and enhancing the natural landscape; improve the environment by increasing oxygen levels and promoting biodiversity, as trees are essential to the life cycle of many insects, such as butterflies and bees, and numerous other living organisms; and promote volunteer and community work, which is considered a continuous act of charity, in accordance with the saying, "Two types of planting are beloved by God: planting trees and leaving a positive impact

."
