The Director General of the Scientific Care Department, Dr. Ni'ma Jassim Al-Ghalibi, and the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Professor Dr. Majid Muhammad Jassim, inaugurated the first Scientific Innovations Exhibition in Basra, under the slogan "Towards an Innovative Generation Leading Development." The exhibition, held in cooperation with the Basra Youth and Sports Directorate, was hosted by the University of Basra/College of Education for Pure Sciences in the lecture halls and the Knowledge Conference Hall

The exhibition witnessed wide participation from innovative young people from universities, colleges, and public and private schools in Basra, showcasing more than 100 innovations and graduation projects, with the participation of more than 30 official entities.

In his address, the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences emphasized the importance of scientific innovation for young people, noting the support of the university, represented by the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, and his interest in innovative youth. He explained that implementing this program is part of activating the partnership between the University of Basra, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and official institutions to support the youth sector.
