University of Basrah organizes a religious seminar on (Intellectual Warfare, its methods and our duty towards it).

The College of Education for Pure Sciences, in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein – Department of Religious Affairs – Religious Outreach Division – Imam Hussein Cultural Center in Basra, organized a religious seminar entitled:

(Intellectual Warfare: Its Methods and Our Role in Addressing It). The seminar, presented by Sheikh Jamil Kabir Khassaf Al-Silawi, aimed to define intellectual warfare, explain its dangers, and identify the knowledge, intellectual framework, and behaviors we should adopt to counter it.

The seminar addressed the importance of awareness, meaning understanding the nature of intellectual warfare and its methods, and recognizing the ideas and principles being promoted. It also emphasized intellectual fortification, meaning strengthening sound values ​​and principles and adhering to facts and logic. Furthermore, it highlighted the importance of effective communication, participation in constructive discussions and dialogues, and the respectful exchange of ideas and opinions.

The seminar was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Majid Muhammad Jassim, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Dakhel Zughair Mutlaq
