Within the framework of international scientific cooperation pursued by the University of Basra, the College of Education for Pure Sciences/Department of Mathematics is organizing a scientific seminar entitled:

“Beyond Euclid: A Journey Through Non-Euclidean Worlds.” The seminar will be presented by Dr. Abdullah Kurdwerk from Turkey, a mathematics professor at Ishik International Schools. Dr. Kurdwerk possesses expertise in educational research in Euclidean and non-Euclidean geometry, in addition to his experience in the educational process for mathematics teachers in Iraqi and international schools.
