The competitive exam for postgraduate students (master's and doctoral) at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basrah has begun for the academic year 2025-2026.

This morning, Monday, June 30, 2025, competitive exams for applicants to graduate programs (Master's and PhD) at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basra for the 2025-2026 academic year began, amidst a highly organized examination environment.
The Dean of the College, Professor Majid Mohammed Jassim, confirmed that the College has completed all administrative, technical, and logistical preparations for the competitive exams, in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
168 male and female students from all Iraqi governorates were accepted to take the competitive exams. The Dean of the College added that we are always keen to provide an exemplary academic environment that enables students to perform the exams in the best possible manner.
Scientific and supervisory committees have been formed to monitor the progress of the exams and ensure transparency and fairness in the assessment. The Central Committee of the University Presidency, accompanied by the Dean of the College, the Academic Assistant, and the Administrative Assistant, inspected the examination halls. The Dean of the College noted that the high turnout reflects the College's distinguished academic standing and the growing confidence in its academic programs. He emphasized the College's commitment to supporting scientific research and developing national competencies in the field of pure, theoretical, and applied sciences.
