As part of the University of Basrah's celebrations of its 61st anniversary, the College of Education for Pure Sciences honored the distinguished faculty member who won the Science Day Award and the distinguished faculty member for scientific publication with a shield of honor. This was in recognition of their efforts in raising the profile of the college and the university in international rankings. This honor was presented by the Dean of the College, Professor Majid Mohammed Jassim, who expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude for the efforts made by the faculty members to improve the quality of education and scientific research at the college.
