The College of Education for Pure Sciences, Department of Physics, hosted an iftar banquet for students of the dormitories. The banquet was attended by the General Secretariat of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, the representative of the religious authority in Basra, Sayyid Haider al-Suwaij, and Sheikh Hani al-Asadi. The banquet was also attended by the Head of the Physics Department, Professor Raed Muhammad Hassan, and a number of faculty members.
This initiative aims to strengthen social ties and encourage students to communicate during the holy month of Ramadan.
This type of event provides a warm, welcoming environment for students, allowing them to meet and exchange ideas in a Ramadan atmosphere.
