The College of Education for Pure Sciences, Department of Physics, organized a scientific symposium on the differences between creative writing and academic writing. The symposium, delivered by lecturer Haider Riyadh Subaih, covered several topics, including the differences between creative writing and academic writing in terms of their objectives, characteristics, style, language, and audience, with examples from each type. The symposium targeted research students and faculty members from the College of Education for Pure Sciences. The symposium concluded with a recommendation on the importance of mastering both types of writing, as both contribute to enriching knowledge and developing creativity
