The College of Education for Pure Sciences hosted the first periodic meeting of the Deans Committee of the Colleges of Education for Pure Sciences for the year 2025
Under the direct supervision of Professor Dr. Majid Muhammad Jassim, Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, and Professor Dr. Ali Darb Shaaban, Dean of the College of Education, Al-Qurna.
The Chairman of the Deans Committee, Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Sha'a, stated that the aim of the meeting is to work on the advancement and progress of the colleges of education and education for pure sciences, laying solid foundations for them and supporting the outputs of these colleges with scientific specializations that are added to the corresponding educational specializations, as well as creating postgraduate studies in some of them and giving the real role to the heads of departments in drawing up the scientific policy of the colleges.
The Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basra, Dr. Majid Muhammad Jassim, indicated that this meeting reflects the spirit of cooperation and high coordination between our educational institutions and is a step towards enhancing the path of academic and research development to serve our country. I hope that this meeting will result in constructive decisions that contribute to raising the scientific level of our universities.
